Hawaiian Islands Cruise Itinerary

Explore Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island, and Kauai with included shore excursions and unforgettable experiences across the islands.

The big, blue Pacific and stunning Koolau mountains serve as a dramatic setting for Hawaii's largest and capital city, Honolulu, on Oahu’s south shore, The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palm trees and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head looming in the distance. Sites relating to the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona Memorial. Catch a glimpse of history by visiting Pearl Harbor and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.

Board Pride of America

Boarding is scheduled from 12:00pm to 3:00pm before Pride of America departs Honolulu at 5:00pm.

Maui, an island in the mid-Pacific is part of the Hawaiian island chain known for beach resorts, diverse geography and outdoor activities ranging from hiking and biking to windsurfing and snorkeling. Sprawling Haleakala National Park encompasses the island’s highest peak, Mt. Haleakala, as well as the pools and waterfalls of Oheo Gulch, accessed via scenic, winding Hana Highway.

Included Shore Excursion: Road to Hana

Take the drive around a beautiful region of the “Magic Isle” of Maui and view some of the most scenic spots found on any of the Hawaiian Islands. As we travel along on our 68-mile trip, our driver will narrate along the way. There are more than 600 curves in the road to Hana. We’ll weave through the surrounding forest and cross a total of 59 bridges while making our way along the eastern coast of the island. It does take time to navigate the route, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the lush landscape as it passes by your window.

Keanae Valley Lookout and Waianapanapa State Park provide grand views of the ocean and surrounding hills. We’ll see Wailua Falls, Puuohokomoa Falls, Waikani Falls, and the Ohea Stream and Pools, fascinating natural elements that add to the serenity of the landscape. We’ll also pass Hookipa Beach, famous for its great windsurfing. Once we reach the town of Hana we’ll have some time to take in all the charm of this sleepy, rural village.

A surplus of natural splendor and the genuine hospitality of its people have helped to make Maui Hawaii's second most popular island. Explore the fascinating history of the town of Lahaina. Plant yourself on a pristine beach, or play one of the world's most beautiful golf courses.

Included Shore Excursion: Molokini Turtle Snorkel Adventure

Disembark our ship for this exceptional cruise excursion where we take a ride on the on a two-stop snorkel cruise! Discover the waters off of Maui as we sail to our first stop in the waters around Molokini, a volcanic cinder cone that has eroded over the years and now is a Marine Life Conservation District Seabird Sanctuary. Just three miles off the shores of Maui, it is a world-class dive location. Look for brightly colored tropical fish and perhaps monk seals, whale sharks, manta rays, and harmless white tip sharks. The second location is along the Makena/Wailea coastline, Keawala’i, where numerous green sea turtles can be spotted. Swim with our local sea life and enjoy a fun day.

The entire city of Hilo is like one giant greenhouse with spectacular tropical flowers at every turn. Visit the town's well-preserved historic buildings, which date back to the turn of the century and showcase Hawaii's unique architecture. Just 30 miles away the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is the home of the active Kilauea Volcano.

Included Shore Excursion: Volcanoes National Park & Rainbow Falls Tour

Visit the most famous attraction in Hawaii, Volcanoes National Park. We will drive through the 11 mile Crater Rim that circles Kilauea’s summit and stop along the way to experience firsthand the wonder and unique beauty of a volcano. View smooth and jagged lava, lava tubes, sulfur banks and bleak desert areas.

Then we take a short walk through a rain forest path leading to the famed Thurston the lava Tube, a natural wonder unique to Hawaii. Visit the Thomas A. Jaggar Museum to view videos of volcanic eruptions, geologic displays, and working seismic equipment relating to the adjacent Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. Oval-shaped Kilauea Caldera is 2 to 2.5 miles across and about 400 feet deep in some places. Within this caldera is Halema’uma’u Crater, where you can smell brimstone and hear steam hissing out of fissures in the rock. After the park we will explore more of Hilo’s surroundings, including Akatsuka Orchid Nursery and Rainbow Falls – a tropical rainforest wonder. Plus, Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory and gift shop.

Kona offers the quintessential Hawaii experience. Sunny, warm weather and crystal blue waters entice visitors to partake in a variety of surfside fun. Snorkel amongst a kaleidoscope of tropical marine life. Take a surfing lesson, a kayaking trip or head out to deeper waters for some deep-sea fishing.

Included Shore Excursion: Historic Kona Tour

Travel back in time at Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park – an ancient Hawaiian village of refuge for kapu (law) breakers. Enjoy a beautiful scenic view overlooking Kealakekua Bay – an underwater preserve and a monument to Captain Cook. Visit the Painted Church, a tiny church Belgian priests painted to be a grand cathedral.

Nawiliwili, Kauai is really the name of the harbor rather than the name of a town, located on the south-east coast of the island of Kauai.. The port lies outside of Lihue, the main town on Kauai. While the port resides in Nawiliwili Bay, so does Kalapaki Beach
